John Wilson has worked in a number of positions requiring counselling skills since completing his Social Work degree.
He is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker and a member of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
Between 1997 and 2007, John worked as a counsellor in the Great Southern Mental Health Service (Western Australia) and in private practice. He counselled people with conditions including depression, anxiety, suicidality, sexual abuse and other trauma, self-esteem and relationship issues.
He has continued to develop his clinical skills which include Stress Management and Relaxation Techniques, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and the Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT).
John has advanced EFT training and has had considerable experience in applying the Emotional Freedom Techniques in a variety of counselling situations with clients over the last ten years. He has remained informed about ongoing developments in EFT and has found EFT to be an extremely effective approach in facilitating emotional healing.
John’s goal when working with clients is to help them to develop a clear understanding of how to create high self-esteem, strong emotional health and balanced constructive thinking, as well as achieve their personal goals and feel good now.
He currently works with his wife Maggie in their counselling and life coaching practice in Bunbury, Western Australia and can be contacted through the ‘Contact Us’ page of this site.
Maggie Wilson has worked in a number of counselling positions since completing her Social Work degree and is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker and a member of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
She assists individuals, couples and families to work through relationship issues, depression and anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, sexual abuse and self-esteem issues.

Maggie has used her counselling skills in both government and non government agencies, as well as in the private sector, and currently works in private practice with her husband John, in Bunbury, Western Australia.
Maggie is very familiar with the How to Feel Good Now e-book, having assumed the role of editor.
She is highly motivated to work in a counselling and life coaching role, to assist people in the process
